"It was meant to be." We like to say, but what does this even actually mean?
"Everything's happened exactly as it was supposed to." "Right place, right time." "It was unexpected, but I guess it was meant to happen." "It wasn't accidental." "It was fate."
We all heard these terms, and used them at some point in our lives. It stems from the belief that certain happenings and events happen to us not by accident, simply because they appear so extraordinary for different reasons: unexpected, surprising, life-changing, even shocking sometimes. Out of the blue, the person you've been waiting for appears in your life. Out of the blue, you find a kitten that somewhere deep down you've always wanted. Out of the blue, you get an opportunity that brings you two steps closer to your career goal. You wanted something to happen, for so long, and suddenly it did. It seems fated, but is it?
So there must be some higher power at work here: fate, destiny, Universe, Source, God, whichever term you're comfortable with. And in some way it's true, of course. Even if someone doesn't believe in miracles, they can encounter certain events that make them question their whole existence. That's what I call divine timing. When something seems too intentionally accidental to seem coincidental. You've been waiting for something to happen, and it did, not the way you wanted, but that doesn't matter at the end of the day. Because it's here. And you think you weren't ready for it. But trust me, you were. You've been manifesting it for a long time, and now it's arrived. You think the magic is somewhere outside you, but actually, it's you. It's within you.
And the magic is simple: your frequency has aligned to the frequency of what you wanted. The magic is alignment. It arrived because you're ready for it, you're ready to fully receive it. There is nothing new in creation, everything already exists, everything is already at arm's reach for everyone. All we have to do is want it, from the heart, and prepare for it: match our frequency to what we want. Sounds easy, but of course it's not. You think you are ready to meet the love of your life, yet here comes another lesson. You think you're getting that promotion, here comes the "not yet." There are so many "not yet" moments we experience, simply because we are not ready to receive what we think we want. Because some things are not for our highest good, but that's another topic. I'm talking about the "meant to be" moments and things, that we want from deep within our souls.
So is it enough to just want something? Yes and no. If it's something your ego wants and clings to, simply because you think you need it to exist and be happy, that's most often just attachment and control over a certain outcome. You don't need anyone or anything. But if it's something that makes your heart happy just by thinking about it, if it feels easy and simple and "just right," then it's most probably coming from your soul. Your soul that is energy, the same energy that is all of creation, that is the Universe, or Source, or God.
So is divine timing really divine? Yes and no. It's divine because the frequency of your soul is in alignment with what you want, and it finally manifested in the material world. Its manifestation, materialisation, taking form. Coming to life in your own world, coming into existence because you are ready to have it, to own it. Was it some higher power? Always. The Universe, Source, God, is your very soul. So when I say yes and no, it's been you all along, but also, it's been something bigger than you at the same time. Nothing happens by coincidence, at the end of the day. And the more you surrender to "let things just happen to me," the more miracles you will encounter, trust me on that.
Time doesn’t exist, when it comes to soul or spirit. There is only freqvency and alignment. There is only evolution. And readiness. You can’t rush anything you really want. All you can do is live your life, focus on yourself, on your own development, and overtime, in time, when you’re ready for it, it can be yours.
