Soul recognition

Let’s talk about soul recognition.

In my previous post, I explained what soul contracts are: what we call soul contracts are the connections you encounter and make as a human - the significant ones who leave a mark on you.

And if a soul contract is an agreement between two souls to reunite and clear karma, soul recognition is the moment the actual connection itself awakens - yet again.

What we call soul recognition is that very specific moment when two people - predestined to meet in this lifetime - come into physical contact, aligning and merging their frequencies, their energies.

What does this actually mean?

It is not by accident that some people feel familiar from the very moment you encounter them.

It is not by accident that the moment you start to talk, it feels like the start of a conversation that never even ended.

It is not by accident that the moment you look into their eyes (their soul), you feel something in your entire body, something familiar, something new, something different, something you can’t explain.

It’s something that is hard to explain. It feels like you knew this stranger from somewhere before, but can’t explain why. It’s not something your logical mind or even your ego can fully comprehend, because it happens at a soul level.

What actually happens at soul recognition?

Carl Jung (a famous Swiss psychiatrist and psychoanalyst), whose main area of research was the connection between the conscious and the subconscious, describes soul recognition as a profound connection between souls that may start fleetingly (familiarity, attraction) or the exact opposite (immediate magnetic pull, intense emotions), which, over time, deepens and strengthens into mutual acceptance and spiritual integration.

A journey to inner awakening.

Because what actually happens is that your nervous system recognises your own subconscious in someone else. It feels magnetic and familiar because it is: the person you met acts as a mirror to your own hidden, unintegrated parts.

Hidden parts, such as:

~ your fears

~ your triggers

~ habits and patterns

~ instincts

things he called “The Shadow”.

That is the exact reason why a soul connection can start like something out of a romance novel, but over time can become triggering, difficult, even toxic. The people involved would have to face their own traumas and limitations by confronting their Shadows through challenges and tests in the relationship. External pressure and internal conflicts would both arise, but it’s not to break them; it’s to make them.

A love awakened by soul recognition is never easy, because at the end of the day, it is an awakening — an awakening of your subconscious, of the part of you that you kept hidden for several reasons.

...

The part you kept hidden unknowingly until you met this person: a soul meant to awaken you, shake up your world, and become your biggest teacher. You meet them because your soul is ready to grow, to evolve — oftentimes, to ascend.

If love is the frequency field that activates when two souls meet, soul recognition is the moment it can all begin.

It’s never by coincidence.

It’s never just attraction.

Everyone you meet is for a reason.

Everyone you meet comes into your life to teach you a lesson.

And while some will come and just as quickly leave after their job is done, others will come and teach you the biggest lesson you could ever learn: who you really are.

They will hold up a mirror that will be crystal clear - often painful, but necessary.
